Owner & Lead Planner
Hi! My name is Jes and I am a wedding planner in the Northern Virginia area. I'm one of those abnormal types who has known what they wanted to do since high school. You can say that it was a calling...or you can say that I had no other extraordinary talents but planning parties, so it was the only way for me to go :) I was set on that track and haven't stopped! Since 2010 I've worked for event coordinators, wedding planners, and catering companies. I gained so much experience on how events run that it made me prepared to launch my own company in 2016. I believe in ALWAYS learning, so since then I've gotten a Bachelors degree in Event Management, got wedding planning certified by Kevin Lee and interned for both him and David Tutera in Los Angeles.
I currently live in Centreville VA with my best friend, her dog Lola, and my cat Gandalf (don't judge my nerd side). I'm a cheeseburger lover, red wine & bourbon drinker, and I always ALWAYS look at the dessert menu first...because I'm a planner and you have to decide these things early! I love weddings so much that I recently added wedding rentals and florals to my business to offer more to my couples and it's been such a success! I can't wait to share all those services with you. Weddings are my passion and I have never once said "that's not in my job description" because I do anything to make my bride and groom's day run smoothly. It's led me to some pretty out of the box day-of duties, but I always say BRING IT ON! Your wedding is all about your love and your guest's support of that and I can't wait to start planning your big day!!!
Along with starting Jes Frank Events, I've started a charity that turned 125 years of my family's work in Guatemala into an official non-profit.
